After several months of gum discomfort, Cassie's bottom teeth are finally showing! There is still a lot of drool and night time painful yelps, but both bottom teeth are slowly cutting through the gums.
Although Cassie is not super excited about playing with toys, she has shown some interest in a Little People train set she received as a gift. Mostly, she enjoys chewing on the Little People. So when Toys R'Us had a 50% off sale on Fisher Price toys AND a further $5 off the Little People line, mommy ordered the Little People Disney Princess Songs Palace right away. It's a little advanced for Cassie but there are no little parts that could be potentially swallowed. Most of all, mommy has always wanted a doll house as a child and this is the chance to make her childhood wish come true! Here, Cassie is playing with the princess bed and the castle is in the background.
This week, Cassie had another playdate with Baby A. Since both babies are moving a lot more, it is becoming difficult to take non-blurry photos. They are interacting more than before, but both still generally play with toys separately and mind their own business. Cassie shows signs of being territorial and likes to "mark" Baby A's toys with her slobber. We need to do something about that.
You can read more about the playdate on Baby A's blog.
