Y2, Week 9 - Easter Bunny

It was a lovely long Easter weekend and spring was in the air! Cassie had not one, but THREE Easter egg hunts!  Since she is in the infant class once a week and the toddler class three times a week, she was able to do egg hunts in both classes with her bunny hat - she LOVES her bunny hat. We also organized a small hunt for her at home, with goodies such as bracelets, rings and hair clips.

 

She enjoys dressing up on the weekends and the warmer weather as allowed her to tap into her "new" spring wardrobe. Some dresses from last year still fit, but are now tunics/mini dresses (white splatter dress here and pink ruffle dress here). She's grown a lot taller but it would be weird if she didn't! Actually, for tops, she is either still wearing 24 month (stretchy) onesies or 3T tees. We completely skipped over 2T tops as they are either too short or too tight for her belly. :)

On the weekend, we visited daddy's friends, who had a pool at their condo. Although apprehensive at first, Cassie eventually enjoyed her first pool experience and finally used the floatee the way it was intended to be used - in the water! (Remember this?) There were three pools: kiddie pool, lap pool and whirlpool. Her favorite was dipping her legs into the whirlpool. Since mommy can't swim, that's mommy's favorite pool too!
