Month 9 Milestones

Cassidy now weighs 18 lbs and is 74 cm long. She is a tall baby, falling into 97%-ile for her height. Almost time for a new carseat! $$$$$$$$ On the other hand, daddy is secretly planning Cassie's pro basketball career.  Watch out for Ng-sanity!!

This month, Cassidy is becoming ever more mobile and is a super active baby. She is very strong and quite the social butterfly.

STRENGTH

• Destroys things
• Does downward dog pose
• Pulls up to furniture and standing

COMMUNICATION

• Seems to understand, "no, don't eat" but likes to test our limits and gingerly takes bites anyways
• Kisses us back when we make kissing sounds
• Makes loud "eeh" sounds to get people's attention, including daddy, mommy, grandparents, waiters, fellow skytrain riders, strangers in elevators, salespeople at the mall...etc
• Crawls to mommy when hungry (otherwise, ignores mommy and crawls to daddy for fun time)
• Blows raspberries with food in her mouth when she is finished with her meal
• Talks to us in baby babble

EAT

• Both upper teeth cut through her gums
• Added soft tofu, beets, egg yolk, broccoli/chicken congee and Love Child Organics baby food pouches to her repertoire. Next on the list is yogurt, barley cereal and Cheerios!

She still loves to eat!
