Week 17 - Rollin'

Cassie has been trying to roll over since she was 2 days old when we noticed the bassinet shaking at the hospital. In the past few weeks, the rolling was actually getting somewhere. First the crossed legs, then the flipped bum and then a few nights of her sleeping on her side.
Earlier this week she finally flipped over from back to tummy! While we are excited for her, this means no sleep for us because we worry she will face plant and suffocate (having been brainwashed by the SIDS propaganda). Still, no peace of mind until she figures out how to flip from tummy to back or we are certain she knows how to turn her head to avoid suffocation.
Moreover, we found her like this in the crib from the rolling attempts...which leads to more shrieks for help.
And so, we bought some breathable crib liners. They are not as padded as traditional bumpers but prevents her from breaking her legs and are not suffocation hazards. She's a real mover. Here, she shimmied herself a full 90 degrees. It appears that she likes kicking the new crib liners!
Last but not least, Cassie loves wearing new outfits!
Thanks Uncle Hanson and Auntie Fong!
